Tom Thurwood
With over 18 years in the building industry, Tom brings a depth of expertise grounded in craftsmanship, technical precision, and a deep respect for architectural vision. Beginning his career on the Gold Coast with a carpentry apprenticeship and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction, Tom soon found his way to Melbourne’s architectural scene—where he refined his approach across site management, estimating, and contract administration.
His comprehensive understanding of the building process allows him to interpret complex architectural drawings with accuracy, ensuring design intent is never compromised during execution. Tom's ability to bridge the space between concept and construction ensures every project is delivered with an uncompromising focus on quality, performance, and longevity.
Tom firmly believes that a home is more than just a structure - it’s the heart of a family’s story and a backdrop for life’s most cherished moments. This philosophy underpins every decision he makes, from material selection to the smallest finishing detail.
Known for his collaborative mindset, material fluency, and attention to detail, Tom has earned the trust of architects and clients alike. He approaches each project as a unique opportunity to bring vision into reality with precision, integrity, and care.
Outside of work, Tom shares life with his wife Lisa, their two young children, Fletcher and Georgia, and their loyal dog, Martha. Whether he's cheering from the sidelines or working on creative projects at home, Tom brings the same dedication to family as he does to every build.
